Marigold Media creates powerful imagery and storytelling to empower people to live in alignment with their purpose.

Film and photography are captivating art forms that portray strong messages and stories. The intentions working in this industry is to help people utilise these crafts to share their stories, educate and inspire others to live life to their fullest potential.

At this stage Marigold Media is a one woman team. From the beginning it was created with the vision of being a collective of artists, all working together and offering a variety of services.

Maddi Malone

I am a passionate filmmaker with a drive to make positive changes in the world. I care deeply about humanity and the health of our Earth. I became a filmmaker to utilise my visual arts skills with purpose and drive to help my community & the collective live peaceful, fulfilling and harmonious lives. For me videography and photography is how I can help create change and have a meaningful impact to evoke change and inspire others.

In 2018 I moved from South Australia to Byron Bay to study a Bachelor of Film at SAE Institute. At 23 in 2021, I graduated and started Marigold Media. I am incredibly grateful for all of the support I have received over the years, allowing me to pursue my passions and do what I love.

My ultimate dream is to be creating documentaries that have the potential to create meaningful change in our culture. Films that have the depth and power to ignite inspiration, spark curiosity and educate people to go beyond the limitations we can put onto ourselves. Encouraging others to purse passions and follow pursuits or experiences that can bring joy, liberation and evolution not just individually but collectively.

Over the years being a sole trader has instilled me with a variety of skills I’ve been developing, not just in the roles I love most like cinematography and video editing but in other ways like directing, web design, social media management, podcast editing and so much more. What I love most is being able to support others through my art, co-creating with others to bring visions to life.
